I am Vaya Fraley, a Columbus, Ohio native and graduate of Georgia State University: Andrew Young School of Policy Studies with a Master’s in Social Work. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), I am invested in helping people thrive beyond adversity, while simultaneously dismantling systems of oppression. I have a significant history in behavioral health services working with people experiencing life crises, surviving trauma, and struggles with recovery. I provide therapeutic services involving, person-centered, strength-based, and cognitive behavior techniques to treat anxiety, depression, and trauma or stress related disorders for adults. I use integrative approaches of Interpersonal Therapy, Affirmative Solution-focused Therapy, and Trauma Cognitive Behavior Therapy. In my leisure time I am a proud “dog mom” to an attention-loving chihuahua and I have a fascination with the latest nail art. You’ve done hard things before and I wholeheartedly believe in you! Thank you for considering me as a partner on your mental health journey.
