I am Lacey Smalldon (She/Her/Hers), born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and currently working towards my Masters In Social Work at The Ohio State University. I work as a generalist, ready to support individuals through a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, difficult life adjustments and more. I have a particular interest in maternal mental health, and the interactions of generational trauma and perinatal mental health. Through a client centered approach, I believe the individuals I work with are the experts of their own lives and their own challenges, and that my role is to help support their process by offering a fresh perspective on their struggles and providing tools to help facilitate the clients own healing. Our goals together are to help develop coping skills, to curiously and courageously engage the challenges presenting themselves, and to find the purpose and the power within them. I am a wife and mother to two beautiful, spirited children, and In my free time I love to garden, teach traditional herbal medicine, and go on long runs outdoors.
